PF MP Davison Mung’andu Praises President Hichilema’s Development Record, Urges Support for Re-election
Patriotic Front (PF) Member of Parliament for Chama South, Davison Mung’andu,
has urged Zambians not to vote for the PF in the next elections, saying
President Hakainde Hichilema has delivered more tangible
development than his own party did while in power.
Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony for
the Kipushi–Solwezi Road in Kasempa
District, Mr. Mung’andu commended the government for its ongoing infrastructure
projects and called on citizens to support President Hichilema’s leadership.
“The people of Chama need President Hichilema’s
leadership,” he said, adding that the Head of State has demonstrated commitment
to improving the lives of Zambians through visible development programs.
The Chama South lawmaker also thanked the
people of North-Western Province and local
traditional leaders for their continued support of the President, noting that
the region has benefited significantly from the current administration’s
initiatives.
Mr. Mung’andu further appealed to all eligible
voters to ensure they possess valid National Registration
Cards (NRCs) and voter registration cards
so they can participate in the upcoming general elections. He emphasized that
broad voter participation would strengthen democracy and enable citizens to
back President Hichilema’s ongoing development agenda.
The remarks by the PF lawmaker have drawn
attention for crossing party lines, reflecting what some observers see as
growing acknowledgment of the government’s progress in infrastructure and
social development.
