Nasser International Forum – Sudan Chapter Condemns Atrocities in El Fasher, Darfur

Khartoum / Port Sudan – October 30, 2025

The Nasser International Forum – Sudan Chapter has issued a strong condemnation of what it described as “grave violations and atrocities” committed against civilians in El Fasher, North Darfur, following recent attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

In a statement released on Thursday, the Forum expressed “deep outrage” over the deliberate targeting of civilians, hospitals, and humanitarian facilities in the conflict-hit city, calling such actions “a flagrant breach of international humanitarian law and human rights principles.”

“These acts represent war crimes that must not go unpunished,” the Forum said, urging the international community to take immediate action.

The group called on the United Nations, African Union, League of Arab States, and all international partners to “urgently intervene to protect civilians, facilitate humanitarian access, and ensure accountability for those responsible for these heinous crimes.”

Reiterating the need for an immediate ceasefire, the Forum also emphasized the importance of opening humanitarian corridors and ensuring the safety of displaced persons and vulnerable groups—particularly women and children—in accordance with international humanitarian obligations.

“The Nasser International Forum – Sudan Chapter stands firm with every effort aimed at ending the suffering in Darfur and preserving Sudan’s territorial integrity and social fabric,” the statement read.

The Forum further urged Sudanese stakeholders to prioritize dialogue over violence and to work collectively toward “a comprehensive, inclusive, and peaceful political solution that restores stability, unity, and dignity to Sudan.”
